Cement Creek Veterinary Hospital is a brand new, purpose-built hospital opening in July 2026. We are built for growth (3400 sq ft) with a dedicated surgery suite, dental suite, cat room, isolation room, observation room, large treatment area, and 4 exam rooms. We are located less than 1 mile from National Forest land and trails.

We built Cement Creek Veterinary Hospital around one idea: leave what we touch better than we found it. That applies to our team, patients, and clients. We believe in modern and transparent medicine, honest and compassionate communication, and making sure people understand their options for their beloved pets. Whether it’s a routine visit or a harder conversation, we show up with clarity, empathy, and a plan that makes sense for the patient and the person sitting in front of us.

Crested Butte South is a small, beautiful mountain community with a unique mix of full-time locals, ranch and working dogs, outdoor and adventure-focused pets, and seasonal visitors. We are rural in setting but serve a community that also has a strong recreation and resort presence.

This means a wide range of cases, a wide range of client expectations, and a strong emphasis on clear communication and flexibility in care plans. Our clients are generally engaged, thoughtful, and invested in their pets, and we value meeting them where they are while still practicing good medicine.

CCVH is independently and women-owned.

Rise Vet is seeking a full or part time Registered Veterinary Technician. We are a locally owned veterinary hospital with the core belief that workplace culture is the key to exceptional veterinary care. By maintaining a positive environment that promotes a healthy work/life balance, Rise Vet is committed to providing employment opportunities that includes a team of people who share your passion while having your back. It’s a lot easier to handle the inherit stressors of veterinary care when you enjoy and trust the people working around you.

Our facility opened in September 2020 and we’ve quickly grown to over 4000 patients. We recently finished a building expansion and are hiring new staff to handle the demand. That said, we work closely with our local emergency facilities and refer cases when needed. Preventing burnout is high on our priority list. In addition, we’re closed weekends and every major holiday to ensure we can be there for our friends and family as well.

If you’re interested in something different from the norm, a practice that feels closer to an actual home away from home that isn’t driving your cortisol level through the roof, we encourage you to apply. You’ll feel the difference as soon as you walk through our door.

*Bonus pay through profit-sharing is also available for staff members in all positions. Details of this discussed in person.

Duties:
-The same list of things everyone else posted, but we’d ask that you also bring a large dose of positivity and a team-mentality. If you occasionally bring snacks that’s great too, but not required. We can write ridiculous things like this because we’re not corporately owned 🙂
