Job Description

Veterinary System Services has been successfully assisting veterinary practices with their relief hiring needs for over 7 years in the Colorado market.  We are currently expanding into several additional states to help more GPs, Urgent Cares, Shelters, and ERs with their staffing needs.

The Account Manager is a remote position which also includes travel to visit current and potential clients along the front range.  We are looking for a new Account Manager with Industry experience, preferrable a CVT/LVT/RVT with a minimum of 3 years clinic experience.



The Account Manager is responsible for developing long-term relationships with a portfolio of clients. The goal is to keep clients active, and for as long as possible. Account Managers liaise between clients and cross-functional internal teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of VSS solutions according to client needs. They develop and manage client accounts to initiate and maintain a favorable relationship with clients. Account managers may be assigned prospects, given accounts, be in charge of finding new business, or a combination thereof. Tasks may involve project management, strategic planning, sales support, product design, service application, logistics, and marketing.



Generate sales for all services. Client Concierge. Client complaints/issues; Including slow pay intervention. Client interactions: (“A” clients – 4 touches/2 calls per month, “B” clients – 2 touches/1 call per month, “C” Clients – 1 touch per month/1 call every 3 months. “Touch” is email, text, phone call, Software message, in-person meeting. A “Call” is a phone call or in person meeting.  Assist Personnel Manager in coordination of Employee events. Attend recruiting events, conferences, employee events. Client newsletter. Assist in providing marketing content for newsletters and social media.



This is a sales position which includes base plus commission at approximately $70K a year


Time Requirements:

Salary/40 hours per week (must be communicated with the Management team).  In addition, 6 Events per calendar year (recruitment/career fairs, conferences, and/or VSS Employee events), Tuesday phone calls, 10 manager meetings per year.
