Job Description

Animal Medical Center of Seattle is looking for motivated Licensed Veterinary Technicians and Veterinary Assistants to join our Urgent Care Department, that will focus on providing outpatient care to stable patients that are not critical or life threatening. The urgent care case load will be predominantly scheduled and streamlined to provide efficient service to clients and their pets.

Urgent Care will have dedicated space in our 14,000 sq. ft. state of the art facility north of Seattle, alongside our existing specialties: emergency, critical care, internal medicine, interventional radiology, ophthalmology, neurology, surgery, oncology, dentistry, and dermatology. The urgent care service will have an array of rapid in-house lab equipment, digital radiography, as well as a dedicated pharmacy and supplies.

Successful Veterinary Technician applicants will require the following experience, skills and training to be considered:

  • Currently licensed or eligible to become licensed as a Veterinary Technician in the state of Washington; VTS credentialed technicians or those interested in pursuing obtaining VTS credentials are encouraged to apply.
  • At least 1 year of full-time experience in a veterinary hospital setting is required.

Successful Veterinary Assistant applicants will require the following experience, skills and training to be considered:

  • Has completed a basic High School level curriculum and received a diploma or GED.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a veterinary hospital setting.
