Job title: Part-Time Emergency Hospital Assistant

Hours: Friday evenings, Saturday’s 8am-4pm and Sunday’s 8am-4pm

Emergency Hospital Assistant: Performs daily duties of cleaning, stocking and preparing the main hallway in the hospital for emergencies. Assists primary DVM and interns with intake of all emergencies. Oversees proper maintenance of all equipment used such as, ultrasound, radiograph equipment, gastroscope tower and scopes. ER assistants are required to have a working knowledge of surgical and hospital equipment. Assists intern DVM’s with procedures on hospitalized horses such as but not limited to, bandage changes, ultrasounds, x-rays etc.

Requirements: Knowledge and some experience handling horses
