Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY:
The veterinary technician uses medical knowledge and clinical skills to provide routine and emergency
nursing care under the direction of the Shelter Veterinarian, which includes facilitating general exams,
administering laboratory tests, assisting during surgery, and support veterinarians in meeting the
diagnostic and treatment needs of sick and healthy shelter animals.
