We are currently seeking an experienced Veterinary Technician to join our team full-time. The ideal candidate for this position will have exceptional interpersonal skills, a genuine passion for animal welfare, and a strong commitment to delivering outstanding veterinary care to pets and their owners. This individual will collaborate with our team of dedicated technicians and veterinarians to ensure the highest standard of care for our beloved patients.

Currently, we treat small mammals and reptiles and support candidates interested in exotics. A friendly and compassionate demeanor, coupled with a high level of professionalism, is essential for success in this role.

Job Requirements

  • Must be registered with the Colorado State Board of Veterinary Medicine (SBVM)
  • Students pursuing their certification are encouraged to apply
  • 1 Year experience as a veterinary technician preferred but not required
  • Competence in advanced veterinary medical procedures and technologies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for interacting with staff, clients, and veterinarians.
  • Effective time management and organizational skills for handling various responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

Patient Care

  • Assist with advanced clinical procedures, including anesthesia, surgery, and diagnostic imaging.
  • Ensure high standards of care are maintained for all patients, adhering to best practices.

Emergency Care

  • Provide immediate medical attention during emergency situations and contribute to crisis management protocols.

Team Support

  • Collaborate with veterinary technicians to support the efficient operation of clinical procedures and patient care activities.
  • Assist in ensuring tasks are completed effectively and contribute to maintaining a positive team environment.
