Job Description
We are looking for a full or part-time technician or a veterinary assistant to become part of our growing, newly renovated, privately owned, small animal practice right here in Portland, Maine! North Deering Veterinary Hospital is well established and has been providing comprehensive veterinary service to the cats and dogs of our phenomenal community since 1973. We are proud to be the only Buy Local veterinary hospital in our area as we strive to support other Buy Local businesses. Enjoy up to a 4-day work week as part of an amazing, experienced team where everyone is an integral part of our patient care. Each team member is provided with and encouraged to take part in continual professional growth opportunities. During your workday, we also encourage everyone to take a well-deserved break which can be spent heading out our door to explore any of the nearby trails! Flexible schedule availability to include some weekends shifts a must.
Pay rate is dependent on position, experience, and licensing
