Job Description

Spay Taos is seeking a skilled Veterinary Technician to join our high-quality, high-volume spay/neuter (HQHVSN) team. This role includes patient prep, anesthesia induction/monitoring, surgical assistance, and post-operative recovery care in a fast-paced, mission-driven clinic.

Responsibilities:

·       Safely handle and restrain cats and dogs

·       Administer medications, monitor anesthesia, and provide pain management

·       Prepare patients for surgery and assist with recovery

·       Maintain surgical instruments, controlled drug logs, and accurate records

·       Communicate discharge instructions to clients with compassion

Spay Taos is a nonprofit organization that provides free spay/neuter services for Taos, Colfax, and Mora Counties. We are typically open Tuesday through Thursday. If you are interested in joining our team, please send a resume and contact information to Donna.karr@gmail.com
