Accredited by the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) for the training of veterinary technicians. The AVMA accreditation qualifies graduates to apply for board exams and credentialing as a veterinary technician in the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom.

Accredited by the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC). The ACCSC is a recognized accrediting agency by the U.S. Department of Education.

  • Important renewal announcement from the ACCSC: “U.S. Department of Education Renews ACCSC’s Recognition for 5 Years – On October 28, 2016, the Accrediting Commission of Career Schools and Colleges (ACCSC) received notice of the United States Department of Education’s decision to renew ACCSC’s recognition for five years, the maximum time-frame permitted under federal guidelines. In reaching this decision, the Department not only found ACCSC to be in compliance with all federal requirements mandated for recognized accrediting agencies, but also recognized the work of ACCSC to improve the quality and success of U.S. postsecondary education. This marks the second consecutive 5 year recognition grant earned by ACCSC and its accredited member institutions.”

Authorized under federal law to enroll non-immigrant alien students (i.e. International students traveling to the U.S. temporarily to attend school). International students will need a M-1 Visa to study at Bel-Rea and are required by the government to keep a full-time class schedule throughout their education.
