Event Details
This program is designed specifically for veterinary technicians and other veterinary professionals who would like to deepen their knowledge and enhance their skills in equine anesthesia by covering the foundational principles (A to Z) of safe and effective anesthesia practices in equids. Participants will explore topics including preanesthetic evaluation, drug selection and protocols, anesthesia monitoring, pain management, recovery strategies, and species-specific considerations. Led by an AAEVT Certified Equine Anesthetist, the content emphasizes technician roles in maintaining patient safety, improving workflow, and enhancing communication with the veterinary team.
