Animal Medical Center of Seattle (AMCS) first opened its doors in November of 2009, starting with a 24/7 Emergency & Critical Care department. We later added Oncology, Internal Medicine, Dentistry, Dermatology, Neurology, Ophthalmology and Surgery services and as we continue to grow, we will add additional complementary services to better serve our patients.

Our dedicated team works collaboratively with primary veterinarians to provide an additional level of specialized treatment. Our Veterinary Specialists have devoted their lives and careers to a specific course of advanced study and training. After completing four years of Veterinary School, a Veterinary Specialist’s training includes a one-year Internship followed by an advanced three-year residency in their area of specialization and a rigorous examination. After this intensive training they are permitted to call themselves a “Specialist”.

We also have skilled and compassionate veterinary technicians, veterinary assistants, and referral coordinators working on our team to add an additional level of exceptional care to pets and pet parents alike. The comfort and well-being of our patients is always a priority with us!
