AspenTree Animal Care in lovely, Durango, Colorado is looking for a Registered Veterinary Technician to join our outstanding team.

This is a full-time, Monday-Friday position, comprised of 4-10s and weekends off.

We’re looking for positive team players with solid communication and technician abilities. Candidates must be motivated, friendly, organized, and detail oriented. RVTs with surgery experience are encouraged to apply!

Primary responsibilities and experience:

• Anesthetic monitoring and induction
• Dentistry – prophy and radiographs
• Surgical assistance
• Patient handling and restraint
• Venipuncture

• Pharmacy duties and lab work
• Microscopic evaluation
• Outpatient procedure
• Monitoring hospital flow/scheduling
• Client communication and education

• Assisting where needing (phones, cleaning, etc.)
