Happy Tails Veterinary Center opened its doors in 2012 and has been an integral part in advocating for its patients within the community and working to increase the human-animal bond ever since! We are not just a general practice, we strive to make an impression and educate our clients on their pet’s health and well-being, and provide many services from wellness exams, routine surgeries and specialty surgeries, emergencies, critical care and overnight patient care monitoring. We also offer more advanced services such as Laparoscopy, endoscopy, acupuncture, ultrasonography, digital radiology and laser therapy to name a few! We offer in-house point of care diagnostics so we can get a quick diagnosis and treatment plan for our patients in a timely manner. We utilize the latest technology in client communication through email, 2-way texting, Pet Desk Communication App, Contactless payments.

The Ideal Candidate Must::

  • Have graduated from an accredited Veterinary Technical School
  • Certification or pending Certification
  • Have a minimum of 1 year recent experience in the field with knowledge in general technician duties is preferred but not a requirement
    • be adept in basic and safe patient restraint, IV Catheter placement, Patient history taking, Proper Vitals, Phlebotomy, knowledge of preventive care, client communication, effective communication skills with doctors, reception and medical support team
  • Be able to stand, bend, lift up to 50 pounds throughout the day
  • Be flexible with availability and be willing to help on Weekends
  • Dependability and punctuality
