Liberty Animal Hospital is looking for a Veterinary Technician to join our team. We are a small one doctor practice that is in search of someone interested in this fast-paced, ever-growing environment! Because we are a small clinic, we believe in delivering high quality medicine along with an exceptional client experience in a compassionate environment. We offer routine exams, diagnostics, vaccinations, surgeries, and hospitalization to our furry clients.

Veterinary Technician represents the mission and values to all clients. Vet Techs are the backbone of our pet healthcare team. With a degree from an accredited school of veterinary technology and a license to practice in Colorado, you have the minimum requirements to consider a rewarding career as part of our top-notch team. This Job Is Ideal for Someone Who Is:

-Applicants must be skilled in surgery assistant techniques, anesthesia, radiology, and laboratory procedures

-Must be a team player and work well with co-workers. Good client communication and education skills, knowledge of vaccine protocols and multi-tasking a must. Must be a team player and have a positive and enthusiastic attitude!

-Utilize your in-depth medical knowledge and your highly developed organizational skills to manage and direct the client/patient flow in the practice.

-Excellent written and verbal communication skills will serve as a focal point for communicating with and educating our pet owners regarding healthcare-related issues (by phone and in person). You will provide recommendations to pet owners regarding the optimal care of their pets.

-Oversee and maintain medical records, which incorporates your attention to detail.

-Using your in-depth knowledge of veterinary medicine, you will assist our veterinarians in diagnosing and treating pets, monitoring anesthesia, performing lab work, performing oral health procedures and surgeries, and monitoring critically ill pets.

Through the use of ultrasound, endoscopy, radiology, multi-model anesthetic monitors for every patient under anesthesia, and extensive orthopedic and soft tissue capabilities, we are able to provide exceptional care for clients. We will be expanding soon and moving into our very own, stand alone building.
