Tammy is a true Colorado Native and graduated from Bel-Rea Institute in 2007.
Tammy was fortunate enough to spend her internship at the University of Colorado where she was involved with many research projects and learned why we do the research we do.
After internship she continued into general practice where she was able to become a skilled technician.
She has also worked in several other types of practice including a mixed practice, a feline practice and most recently a mobile practice assisting a Board-Certified Orthopedic Surgeon.
She served on the Executive Board of CACVT as Secretary where she was exposed to leadership and policy changes to better the field of CVT’s.
Tammy has been married for over 36 years and has three sons and three grandbabies who consume her time when she is not teaching Avian and Reptile at Bel-Rea.
She shares her home with several dogs and cats many who have come from Colorado Japanese Chin Rescue, the group she chooses to support by doing all of the corporate fund raising which includes participation in The Colfax Marathon and the Taste of Colorado.
Tammy also love to travel and does on the rare weekends when she can. She has been to London England, Mexico, The Caribbean, Alaska, Canada and all over the USA. She has just become very interested in Genealogy and has traveled to Utah to do research at the Family History Library.
